This cartoon is - to put it mildly - a work in progress. Even as I publish new strips I’m still developing characters, picking names, working out the basics, etc. But that’s the beauty of the internet - I can publish it even in this unfinished form!
I work on this as I can. My initial goal is one new strip per week. We’ll see…
Here are thumbnail sketches of the main characters:

The main character is Bob Schwilm, the leader of the Marvelous Institute of Togetherness (MIT), a non-denominational, all-inclusive quasi religious/spiritual community.

He has a wife, Kelly, a working woman who’s willing to put up with his shenanigans.

Schwilm’s father-in-law and Kelly’s Daddy. A retired corporate executive and still active conservative who thinks Schwilm is, at worst, the anti-Christ and, at-best, a godless communist.

His congregation is full of a number of characters, including his friend/janitor Syd.

Wayne is a teenage member of the youth group in Schwilm’s congregation.

Amy is another teenage member of the youth group. She’s more of a brainiac than Wayne - and Schwilm too, for that matter.
How’s that for starters? Like I said, it’s a work in progress.
As for me, you can clearly see I’m not much of an artist. I would describe my drawing style as “get it done quickly and with the least amount of effort possible”. I think I’ve clearly achieved that.
My background is in joke writing for late night television. I’ve written jokes for David Letterman, Jay Leno and - hold on to your hat for this one - Carson Daly.
